VGT HOG Standing Strong with ATCT Controllers at North Las Vegas Airport!
On Thursday morning, several folks from the North Las Vegas Hangar Owners Group teamed up with Clark County Department of Aviation management and staff to deliver two vehicle loads of food, water, and essential supplies, along with $50 Walmart gift cards, for the Air Traffic Controllers and assigned FAA engineering personnel and their families at our ATC Tower at the North Las Vegas Airport.
These dedicated FAA employees are continuing to work without pay during the ongoing federal government shutdown, yet they remain on the job every day keeping our airspace safe and our airport operating smoothly.
All of the food and supplies were generously donated by members of the airport community and through community donations from made at Harry Reid International Airport (KLAS).
Additional donations can be dropped off at the food donation box located in the terminal near the service desk at North Las Vegas Airport. Every contribution helps support our tower team and their families during this time.
The VGT HOG is very proud to stand with our FAA employees, and we will continue supporting them throughout the length of the shutdown.
